"Later she remembered all the hours of the afternoon as happy."
My style as a filmmaker is intended to draw audiences into a beautiful dream—rich with textures, visual poetry, and melodic sounds.
The Hours is all about small details. It is about elevating the little gestures and capturing the brief moments. With this project our team sought to craft a mood and tone for drawing viewers into an elegant world of repose and quiet introspection.
Using mirrors, foreground elements, and thoughtful compositions, we built our frames using multiple layers, reflections, and light refractions. With a slow moving, sweeping camera we sought to evoke a sense of floating—a sense of calm and stillness.

“Later she remembered all the hours of the afternoon as happy—one of those uneventful times that seem at the moment only a link between past and future pleasure, but turn out to have been the pleasure itself.”
