Exploring an Identity Crisis
The Future of Identity was a digital launch campaign for AKA Identity, taking viewers on a journey through one of the most complex and challenging problems in IT and cybersecurity.
Telling the story of IAM (Identity and Access Management)—and how AKA is using data science to put people back at the focus of technology—our goal was to ground this branded documentary with imagery that was both organic and human centric.
Filming throughout DFW with industry leaders both inside and outside of AKA, we were able to communicate the bold vision of this tech startup and reach key audience members whether they had technical or non-technical backgrounds.
Cinematographer Scott Peck selected the TLS Cooke Panchros for their painterly quality, describing them as having a mix of both spherical and anamorphic characteristics. Paired with the large format sensor of the Sony Venice 2, their soft focus fall-off and slightly oval bokeh at the edges gave this project a visual quality that was perfectly suited to our creative goals for the storytelling.
